Claus Andreasen, NSMiF/g – Denmark

I started in the 2000s in the Danish Nikon Club. Around the same time, I became a tour guide, meaning most of my photos were travel-related. I took part in the club’s monthly competitions and in DN without much success, but I did learn a lot about photographic vision.

On January 1st, 2014, I helped found the photo group Momento, which marked the real beginning of my development as a photographer. The group has always focused heavily on mutual critique of members’ photos, which means there’s always something to take home, both in terms of your own images and by viewing the work of others.

My progress has accelerated significantly over the past 3–4 years. We’ve formed a small group focused on more intensive landscape and studio photography. In addition, I’ve received help in using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop more effectively.

As a result, over the past few years, I’ve taken part in several international salons, especially in the Nordic countries, and have received numerous recognitions.
