Invitation

The Nordic Society of Photography cordially invites all members of camera clubs and direct members associated with Riksförbundet Svensk Fotografi RSF, Norsk Selskap for Fotografi NSFF, Suomen Kameraseurojen Liitto SKsL, and Selskabet for Dansk Fotografi SFD to participate in the 5th Nordic Photography Championship Collections/Series 2025.

The illustration image on this page is the collection “Ladies of the water” by Atle Sveen, which earned an RSF Gold in 2024.

• Each photographer can participate with up to two (2) collections/series of 3–5 images each.
• Regardless of how many images a collection contains, only one single image file showing the entire collection should be uploaded—not the individual pictures. Our contest system cannot handle multiple image files as one submission. A set of templates has been prepared, offering TIFF-files with guiding lines to suggest the placement of images, click here to download.
• By submitting images to the competition, the photographer accepts that the organiser can use the images to promote this and upcoming competitions.
• The jury or the competition committee may reject a collection/series if the pictures do not follow the competition rules or are otherwise considered deviating.
• The organiser takes no responsibility for copyright abuse.
• The image files must be in jpg format, with a maximum size of 2 MB and a maximum width of 1920 x 1080 px (width x height).
• A collection is several images with coherence or mutual context.
• The author is free to choose a theme for their collection.
• Both colour and monochrome photos are allowed—even mixed in the same collection.
• Single images from previously accepted collections can not be reused in a new collection, nor can images from MNFFF silver/gold awarded series.

Deviations from the rules:

Images not meeting the competition rules may be disqualified without a fee refund.

AI and copyright terms:

Pictures created by artificial intelligence are not allowed in this salon. It is reminded that all parts of the image have to be photographed by the author who is holding the copyright of all works submitted.

Offenders will be sanctioned for life!
